MILPITAS, CA,
May 5, 2006 -- Sony's/Columbia Pictures adventure comedy topped last
weekend's box office gross with over $16 million in ticket sales. While the
movie has been universally panned by critics, it apparently has resonated with
audiences on the heels of record RV industry sales in 2005.
In the movie, a workaholic executive, Bob
Munro, played by the manic Robin Williams, persuades his wife and
children to give up a Hawaiian vacation for some "family bonding" on a
cross-country RV trip. But Bob really has his career, not his family in
mind. In the end though, he learns the true meaning of family.
