RVIA Reports Wholesale Shipments for February

The Recreational Vehicle Industry Association reported that wholesale shipments of 29,700 units in February, down 10% from the same period in 2006. The decrease was driven by soft towable sales. Despite rising fuel prices, Class A shipments were up 12%.

In November 2006, the RVIA reported that U.S. recreational vehicle makers expect shipments to dealers to drop more than 11 percent to 341,900 in 2007 from an expected 385,500 units in 2006.
