Gasoline Cheaper than Bottled Water Again |
| December 8, 2008 |
| |
| In good news for consumers, US fuel
prices have dropped as precipitously as the price of crude oil. Oil
prices have fallen below $50 per barrel for the first time since May
2005, down $100 from its peak last summer. Gasoline prices have dropped
from over $4 per gallon to under $2 and is now cheaper than bottled
water. Diesel fuel has take a similar dip from nearly $5 per gallon to
$2.50. This is unlikely to help RV sales much
although it should encourage use by existing owners and perhaps benefit
RV services providers. |
